Anya Woolliams
BA, MA, MOst, PGCert in Animal Osteopathy (OCA)
Anya received her training at UCO (formerly BSO) and gained experience in treating patients in community clinics, including the Ian Charleson clinic at the Royal Free Hospital.
Aside from working with chronic pain patients referred by the NHS, particularly those with complex health conditions like fibromyalgia, she also has experience in treating acute sports injuries. Being an avid sportswoman and a trained personal trainer, she possesses a solid practical knowledge of sports exercise and rehabilitation, allowing her to identify realistic personal abilities in her patients.
Anya believes in a patient-centred approach and recognises the importance of treating the patient as a whole—addressing both their mind and body—to have the best impact on their health and instigate lasting healthy habit changes. She also aims to set mutually agreed-upon and attainable goals with her patients.
In addition to her other skills, Anya is also a trained massage therapist and has experience treating clients on yoga retreats worldwide. She is available on Sundays.
